How are Bull Bars attached?

My Westin bull bar mounted to the frame with two brackets, one went between the lower radiator shroud and frame, the other bolted to the side of the frame, they both bolted together, then dropped down below the bumper. No drilling, it all bolted on.

May I ask why you inquire?

A friend of mine wants one and asked me about it. He only wants it for attaching extra lights.

That's an expensive option just to add lights... but it is a good idea. One suggestion is to maybe look for nudge bars instead.

This is obviously a 1st gen, but the designs and mounting points are almost identical.

With as much night driving on rural roads that I am doing these days, I need more light.

I want to mount some sort of "light bar"/bull bar to my truck to mount the lights that I want.

My question - since I have an EE air dam, will this present mounting/attaching difficulties?

I see you have the wholes for the license plate still. This is a little spendy, but there are the license plate frame/light mounts.

you could do the bumper mount kit, but to be honest unless u have more then 2 100watt off road lights you really wont notice them with the HID's u have (unless the lights will be shining where the HID's are not)
