We need a rear a/c blower motor ... where to get good one?
I've acquired three so far with inoperative motors ... bummer. Are these possibly serviceable?

Need to keep Nana happy and grandchildren in comfort. Thanks for any help. Greg / Florida

Three in a row and I've never heard of one going bad.
Are you positive it's not the wiring inside the console, or, possibly the control center in dash itself?

I have provided 12V directly to the original center console blower motor with no positive results and... unfortunately the other two we obtained from my local salvage yards (both resellers each stated... motor should be ok for you).

My power feed (pink/white) from the front connector is 12V active.

Convinced a working motor will be the solution for me. I am soon attempting a motor tear down to hopefully make a repair.

Off Topic: After removing the center console - dang my carpet is filthy in this family ride. Hah!

Green(12V) / Black(ground) - powers a good motor... when I have one.

mine had stopped working for almost 6 months and now it just works again :dead:.

Do you have a picture of the motor itself? or is it incased inside the plastic housing as photo'd. above?
curious as i most likely will have to replace mine soon

Came across this interesting information while trying to find this motor:

It lists several similar motors and sizes. How does this motor mount into the plastic?

TLDR; Is there a preferred replacement motor for the footwell blowers, from the list below or another?
Bosch: 0130007027 12V 28W 4500rpm shaft-6mm
Bosch: 0130007081 NLA? (a/c blower 911.624.013.01)
Bosch: 0130007342 12V 4A - The explorers fan motor
Bosch: 0130007343 12V 5.5A
Retek: 50ZYT
BMW: hv/ac motor 17401460427, 51331460427

seems these are similar size and power ratings. the 343 spins faster according to the forum.

i have a members old truck at work that should have a working motor in it. if i can get it out. message me so i wont forget about it. oh, if i can get it, you would have to be willing to pay shipping from canada however.

And now an update ... WE HAVE A RUNNING MOTOR!

I continued my battle to win this challenge;
First I removed all three acquired blower motors form their housing ,blew out debris with compressed air, used an aerosol electronics cleaning fluid, inspected each for any conductivity issues, cleaned contact brushes, re-assembled and lubricated each to obtain a bindless spin, then ... I power each motor and WAH-LAH - I have one that has "returned for service".

I will take a stab at the remaining two motors with hopes to refurbish to again function.
BTW - The first to continue working ... my original, fancy that.;)
