Off-roaded for the first time today

Well I finally got a chance to take my X off-road So i was off to Azusa Canyon OHV with a buddy to try it out to see how it did.And it did better than i thought. Had an almost whoops when i tried to get to rocky area and hit some soft before i go to it. But got out of it with no problems. even made a couple of water crossings with no problems. Yea Yea I know now no 2WD are allow in there but i cheated and got in anyways. :D Here's a couple of pics i took.

wheels are 3.75 in backspace as far trimming i had to cut the corners from the front bumper and removed appx 2in from the inner fender in the rear.
but i was a little premature in doing that since afterwards i did a tt on it and eliminated the rest of the rub it had. if i was to do it again i woudl have the tt first and then trim it if necessary

Looks good Cyber, finally in its element.

Nice ex, i had not seen any pics of it till now. With the spindle lift would you be interested in getting rid of the torsion bars and going with coilovers?

Spindle lift? right now there no spindle lift just a body lift tt and a cheap aal
but i would interested in getting coilover, spindle lift etc in the future

Looks good Cyber, finally in its element.
thank you maybe i need to dust the cob webs off and start driving it again
and start doing some work on it? dunno time will tell.

Damn sorry i thought you had spindles. The guy building my LT kit is looking at making a 6.0 style lift for explorers. Youd have to provide the spindles, and coilovers of your choice. He'd build custom uppers to provide the extra travel and mount everything up. The lowers would be boxed and re-enforced for the added strength needed for the coilovers. He's located in Rancho cucamonga and is pretty well known for his fabwork in the desert community.
