Already put one from a running 91 on it

Yes, but the wiring to it runs down the front of the timing cover and is easily damaged. Please take my word on this.

You need to see if the signal is making it to the ecm

How do i check the signal? I tested each pin going to the cps and got 6v from each pin

You have the ground wire attached to the motor??there is more issues if you turn the key and it doesnt turn over on its own..if you have to jump the solenoid for the turnover then the ECM is probably not even getting power or the motor is not grounded

The ground strap is attached and has good connections. Im starting to think that the original 91 computer is fried.

Could be the EDIS box near head light..is your coil getting signal to fire..if you tried to start it using 94 wiring it could very well could have fried the 91 ecm

Also have you checked the inertia switch or the neutral safety switch

With the key on, im getting 3v per coil tower. The inertia switch was not tripped. My neutral safety switch is bad i think but that was before the motor swap.

Well i put in a new computer from a 91 and im still not getting spark. I really cant think of what else might be wrong. It might be going to my mechanic..

Well you messed with the wire harness. You had it out several times swapping back and forth maybe something got disconnected or damaged I don't know.

I just read the codes and got: 26, 67, 16, and 89 (might have been 88). Could a neutral safety switch prevent me from getting spark?

No it prevents the starter from cranking over

If you're electrically inclined, follow the crank sensor into the ICM. Backprobe the ICM and verify pulses at the ICM. Look up a wiring schematic and find the SPOUT from the ICM going to the ECM, check for pulses. Backprobe the ECM SPOUT.

This should tell you where the issue is. Bad wiring, faulty ICM or faulty ECM.

Just traced the wires back to the ICM and found out it was faulty. I picked up a new ICM and im getting spark!! Thanks to all those who helped out!
