Time to get the Pumpkin back in shape...

Let's see, we've got two new front tires, a new CTM U-joint and longside axles from Moser.

Both the Moser axles and the CTM u-joints have been upgraded since buying my last set. The CTM u-joint now has a radius where the trunnion meets the body of the u-joint. Previously there was a 90degree angle there and that's precisely where mine broke.

The Moser axles now appear to be heat treated all the way across. Previously their yokes were not hardned the same as the rest of the shaft. The old style performed well for 6 years. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new one will perform at least as well.

Nice! Specs on the tires? why 2?

Still 36x13.50-15s I replaced the rears a few months ago. I just didn't want to shell out $800 all at one time :D

Nice

I'm not a huge fan of those tires, but i've never ran them, do you really like them that much to buy them again?

Have you considered having the shafts cryo treated?

FedEx :thumbdwn:
UPS

Not until now :D I'll talk to the guys at FST to see if there is a shop that can do it locally.

Good idea!

What is that?

Cryogenic treatment allows the molecules to align more uniformly and pack tighter together.

How much did the tires cost to ship?

How long would it take if you stuck them in the freezer? :D

Free Shipping! I got them from 4Wheel Parts for $192ea. And I got a $25 dollar gift card to boot.

Thanks for the link. If I can't get it done locally I'll ship it off to them.
