Hey i just put on some 31x10.5 MTRs. I was wonderin who all has them and how long the tread lasts, it seems a bit sketchy with mileage. In the mud there freakin amazing though.

I have some 35" MTR's, so far so good! Keep them balanced and rotated and they should do fine.
However they are by no means a street tire, you have no business buying a MT or MTR or any type of mud terrain if you are looking for alot of miles.
The MTR is better than some on the street, but its still designed to be a off road tire..

I had 40,000 miles on a set on my old Ranger. They had about 10,000-miles left.
balencing and rotating every 5,000-miles, and a good front end alienment is necessary.

40,000 miles on a set of MTR's? They have only been available for a short time...

They've been out for almost two years if not two years

I put over 35,000 miles on my first set with plenty of tread left; I sold them as spares. They would surely have gone over 40k miles easily. I'm on my second set now and yes I drive a lot :D

Well I believe 40K miles is exceptional for a mud terrain as aggressive as the MTR. :)
You get your $$$'s worth, almost :)

More than 40,000. At 40,000 they still had at least an 1/8-inch of tread before the wear bars would show. I expected to get at least 50,000 out of them. There were about 3-years old. Also they have very good puncture resistance. They are a good tire just very expensive.

Hah! I have 66,000 miles on mine and am looking for a new set... Trying to find a good deal.
