Here it goes, its a 1997 Explorer XLT 4x4, I currently am living in Cape Coral, Florida but at the end of this month my family and I will be moving to Ft. Campbell, KY. Since I bought the Explorer I have installed HID's and an Alpine cd player.

I'll be taking it back apart to change some of the wiring for the radio if anybody wants some detailed pics of ite rewire for the JBL crap, I will also be making a custom harness using all factory plugs, so no hacking if anybody is interested.

nice x u got there justin

I don't have any history on it however looking at the trans. and transfer they both look to be brand new, and the engine runs like it was just rebuilt. All the brake pads, various wires, etc. on the x are ford factory replacement parts from the dealer, so I know this truck was very well taken care of..

Did the headlights today, I think they look good...The 3M headlight stuff works really well..

I forgot to mention, I had a check engine light on and when it was scanned it said EGR upflow of something like that....It ended up being a little sensor that has two rubber hoses comming from the EGR tube, the hoses had dryrotted and came off and melted the sensor. I called Ford and they said $160, so i went to the junkyard and could not find an explorer that still had one in it (I guess its a common thing) so just for fun I looked in a newer focus and there it was, same part number and everything almost new with two brand new hoses cost me 20 bucks.

More work, more pics
