Got a 96 explorer 4 door. 2wd. 5.0. Looking to stroke it and super charge it. Want the more horsepower but want to keep the torque up there too. To where its not all horsepower and won't move. Very mechanically inclined. So ill be doing all the wrenching. Not the machining of course.
Guess it would be like a street/strip truck?
Maybe something like 350 to 400 HP. On the motor.
I've had it for 8 years. Attached to it. First v8 vehicle. First ford. Very impressed. Money not an issue.
And what tranny mods would be best?
Not going to keep the a/c either. I don't need it. If any one want those parts.
And another dumb question. What's better E85, or 93 octane? And could I even run E85?
