So, is there an actuall date set. I just read 7 pages and am still not sure if anyone knows. I vote for the end of May, actually anytime is good for me, but it sounds like more people can make it at the end of May. I was there in the begining of June last year and it wasn't too hot at all, plus Utah is expecting a good long winter this year so it may still be chilly if we go earlier. I'm planning on going either way though, I just want a solid date to plan on.

I believe we have decided on the period encompassing May 18th- May 20th, plus or minus the days before and after that some of us may arrive to trailrun on.

Unless I hear very strong protests otherwise, tomorrow I will make reservations at the Silver Sage and lock in a room.

If I do not hear otherwise in the next twenty-four hours, I will assume that will be a "GO" and we can all plan for that weekend.

Um....Works for me! I've still gotta wait and convince the parents....they think it's "a bit much to go to Utah to drive my truck around" Ah! Parents....They just don't understand....at least in my family And I want my 4th explorer!

bad news there petey......i can't use my buddies 2 car trailer that weekend (i don't know why he is planning this far in advance....)....hes takin his 2 corvetts to the drag strip. Im still looking though....another friend of the family has one...so i dunno yet. And i found an F-350 all ready to go here in town!! YAHOO!!! now im tryin to get a loan....ugh...2 payments at once...

Still think you need to bring your folks with you. You will have to go thru Colorado on your way, so they will see some really pretty mountains even before they get there.
My folks plan on going so they can't use the excuse they will be the only old people there.

Well, It's not them comming with...although I kinda want my dad to go cause he's a pretty damn good photograhpher for being an amateur/dad.....Whoa...Hum.......Yes, I'm 18, 19 in a week and a half....and I could go under my free will, but that would piss them off...they pay for everything, so happy parents are good...Not to mention...I've got 1 younger brother and 2 younger sisters...so they've got people to take care of...not to mention, I doubt they'd like to take a family trip outta it...but I'm takin pics back from the last Moab as a motivator!
I'm done now! I still wanna go though demmit(nice Riff, ya got me on it now)

Trust me, they would REALLY ENJOY themselves. Make it a family vacation. They have never been out this way before so there is another reason.
Tell your sister and mom they can have one day of shopping somewhere along the way and you have it made. That works every time.
My mom has been planning if we should take the trailer or stay in a cabin. She will be fine until we start four wheeling, then she might not be so enthusiastic so that is why we have to get another Explorer so they can go with the stock group. lol

Perry....it looks like if I can get the weekend off I'll be taking our trailer with me too so we could almost set up a little "camp" at moab if you bring your's. I'm planning on doing that for truckhaven.....I'm also going to rent a generator so if you need power....we've got some.
