Official ET/MPH List

Oh wow lol. Talk about excessive. I'm not that desperate to hit 15's . But Nice Job though:thumbsup: I'll find another way. If not I'm not too concerned aobut it. I'm about done with (speed) performance with the Ex unless I can find a good person to do a performance motor rebuild. Other wise I'm gonna start stacking money for that 2005 Mustang GT I've been dying to get.

Thanks techieman33 I thought it did alright. Haha, if I went and took all that out and kicked my passenger out I could probably hit the 17.4-17.6 range. Anyways plans to turbo it this spring! :) Maybe the summer have a girl that I might have to buy some things for first :) Haha, nice run with yours!

Yeah it was way overkill, but I had made 2 trips to the track, and was always just a couple hundreths from running a 15.xx and it was driving me nuts, so I gave it a little help to get there.

Yea I can definitely feel ya there.

You removed your cats? I thought you kept all your cats on.
I removed them shortly after I run 8.50's-j

Any explorers seen the track lately?

Yes I ran in June at a Race for the Cure Henson Performance sponsored. With my 18's and rolling in the throttle I run 8.40's @ 87mph in 95* humid weather! This is with a shi**y 2.20 60' time. I cannot get as much stall with the new 5R55S. Interestingly I was running 1.90 60' times with my 5R55E. Once I get a new converter hopefully my 60' times will drop below my previous times (hoping for 1.80 60'). Once this happens, I believe I will see a 7.80 or 7.90 in the 1/8th. That would translate into an easy 12.50 in the quarter. I am trapping the mph just can't get it to move off the line with the new tranny despite the lower 1st gear. Growing pains!-j

James, how is your first gear, could it be a hair tall with the ring/pinion? If you left very well with the 5R55E, you might do well to swap to lower ratio R&P. For racing it's about getting into the power band, with boost you can use less gearing and often do better.

BTW my race weight was 5,300lbs with my passenger me and all my sound stuff and the cooler. Just me and how I drive it every day weights in at 4860lbs. Heavy bugger :)

Ok all updated.

NOTE: When you post new times include the entire slip please,.
