That is one nasty split you got on your finger. Dang man.

no superglue and go?

Wow man, that's a good cut.

If I didn't see the tendon, then I would've just done the old wrap in rag, cover with electrical tape routine.

WOW  You did a good job!

I award you a Prize for that one.;)

Mr. Brown stopped by this afternoon to deliver a package. So what do I find when I open it up, two pretty black & silver Ballistic Coilovers! :D They're 2.125" bodies with 14" of stroke.

Sweet shocks? If you don't mind me asking what did they run ya?

Awesome, what spring rates did you go with?

Has the hand injury sidelined the project for awhile?

I went with the same rates and lengths as yours for starters.

Heck no. It may slow me down, but I'll still try and get something done this weekend.

Good deal, before you start mocking up your shocks go get some 2" blue tape to protect them when your shoving them into the engine bay and what not.

Welder broke. Need to get a new liner and the welding store is closed till monday. Still get other stuff done though.

Not much good picture progress today. We got most of the brackets cut and fitted for the axle. Also cut the plates for plating the frame where the coilovers will mount as well as the tracbar. Hopefully I can get my welder working this week and start doing some welding.

Fml

Not sure how much I'll be able to get done this weekend. I need to pull out the intercooler tubing, HPOP lines and maybe a turbo & turbo pedestal from the Super Duty. Pretty sure I blew another HPOP o-ring or one of the pedestal o-rings finally went.

Ouch, I bet the 90mph drive to balboa helped the death of that o-ring. Sorry to hear that.

I found the oil leak. Blew the oring for the passenger side HPO line coming out of the HPOP. Of course it has to be the hardest line to get to and buried under the fuel hard lines, fuel filter housing & the other HPO line & alternator.

Didn't get anything done on the ranger, but got 2 new batteries swapped, a coolant leak fixed and the high pressure oil line leak fixed.

There's still tomorrow. :p:

Here is the offending o-ring versus a new o-ring.
