Good choice. Nothing wakes up a 5.0 like a custom tune. You going with James? I'm pretty pleased with the tunes he did for me this past summer.

I do hope someone does score a set of the lights so we can figure out what bulbs are needed etc. Unlikely I'll go for them unless they take my existing HID bulbs which seems unlikely.

Yes James will be doing it for me. Intake + Exhaust + TMH then last the programmer all I have left to do, and that part of my truck is done.

Pretty good chance the projectors take an H bulb I would think.

I think if someone was to buy these and they would work out for a 98 Sport i would definitely get a set. i been looking to upgrade my headlights to something like these but i just dont knwo where to begin.

Yeah but alot of after market stuff are H bulbs so we will just have to wait and see

They'll probably be either H1 or H7.I'm interested to find out how the full beam will work.

Will both optics stay on, or, will they flip between the 2?

(outer for dipped, inner for main beam)

Hey

Why are there 2 bulb holes? Is the explorers not a single bulb hi/lo beam thus only needing ONE bulb hole? I'll buy a pair if they accept 9007 bulbs as that is the HID i'm running in the truck now.

they made it a 2 bulb system which means one is the high beam bulb.

ok but why would there need to be a highbeam hole if the highbeam and lowbeam are the same bulb? One bulb one hole, only reason I see them doing this is cause they need a lowbeam bulb and a highbeam bulb, or people who want a hid lowbeam halogen highbeam or vice versa. I think I'm going to buy a pair for my 98 X with Xmas money, anyone know of any single hole, non angel eye projectors?

With projectors I do not beleave it can be hi and low thats why they have a high beam place for a different bulb...All cars are factory like that too...Far as I have seen.

The Explorer uses an H4 (twin filament) bulb.

when dipped beams are on,only one filament is lit.

However, when you put full beam on, the other filament lights up, but the one for the dipped beam goes out.

Now, what I'm wondering is, when you put the full beam on, will both optics light up, or will they swap over, as with the normal H4 bulb?

OKay TRCKMAGIC Pm'd me first for my old lights, so if he wants them they are spoken for.

The new lights have shipped! I ordered black
I will be putting the halo's on a switch, and they will be powered with the parking lamps
The LED accent lights look pretty cool, I wonder if they can be wired up to flash
On my BII I have 3 blue led lights on my fenders, they flash with the signals, would be cool to have both trucks match

I am looking at the E bay pictures and trying to see how the projectors adjust.
Because these are one big piece for the side marker and headlight they mount with screws and the push is holder thing, so the projectors must adjust independantly.

On my wifes FJ we have the black halo projectors, you have to remove the light, adjust the projector, then re-install, repeat. ON the FJ this was a PITA! and I still need to adjust the passenger side one more time LOL Oh well
I am looking forward to the light output of the projector compared to the black diamond clears I have now......
