...big air buldges on the black side...the owner ran them letter out....the guy dismounting the tires last night should have seen it....the smaller one was bigger than a fist...:dunno:

...right now i am replacing the front right timkens and seal...there goes another 50 bucks gas money, lol...rear brakes and 1 cylinder are going on today and i'll do the ol' string alignment...the truck will really stickout with the front fenders and miss matched tires...:D

...anyone know of a tire store down there that will mount tires by truckhaven??? i need a name of a tire shop so i can call them, thanks...:salute:

I probably live nearest to T-haven, about 45 min. and there's the usual tire shops around me like Big-O, America's Tire, etc. If you are looking to have it done at T-haven there might be some hole in the wall desert hillbilly nearby that might do it:D I could do it there if you wanted but of course it wouldn't be balanced.

...thanks db1...we might have a tire changing party...woohoo....j/k...let's see what i can work out before i leave...:D

...we got the rear brakes and cylinder on....pulled the rt. front wheel and replaced the bearings and seal....then went to 2 junkyards, went thru there spindle parts buckets, 2 stealerships to find out this splined washer is only to be found in upland.......got some paint on my hooks, the welder is finishing up the last welds, not counting my tire thing started at 3...and i still need a couple goodyear mt/r's...it's been a good day...:D

...well, i got a minute so i'll post some pics of the new front tires...:D

i am going to have to relearn to drive this thing...it has gone thru some major changes this week and feels like a totally different vehicle...

Yeah then after you learn how to drive it like this its time for a solid front axle.

And paint the vehicle so that its only one color :p: (fenders)

...after this week all i want to think about is sleeping, lol...but sas is still a year off...;)

the whole thing painted or sas, one or the other will be within a year...the paint is waiting on a few other mods...:D

...well before i head to work i was playing hookie this morning...i went out to check on 2 different goodyear mt/r's in riverside...they both had side buldges...hmmm, could this be a pattern...

...my decision for now is i am going to go and run truckhaven with this setup...red fenders, these tires, you can't miss me, lol...:D

I have found tread seperation (side bulges) are common when a tire is aired down and then driven at highway speeds on the highway, dont ask me how I know...

...lol, me neither...:D

...I will be keeping an eye on the 2 i got and i will be checking everyone elses mt/r's as i am hoping you are correct on the being driven at highway speeds...i really haven't heard anything bad about them...it seems like everyone loves them and there are a few who don't...i've got over 13 bfg mudders i can get now that i have my mt/r's on...evryone is calling me before they leave town with their tires...;)

...well, my drive to riverside i was able to test the wheels at 75 and no more shimmy, woohoo... :D...the mt/r's seemed a little stiff and were really working my front shocks...i just checked all my fluids and tire pressure's and the front's were 37 and 39 pounds for 35 pound tires....i just dropped them to 32 so the freeway trip tomorrow will be sweet...i can already tell my new setup will yield better fuel economy as i had a little over 1/4 tank when i left and i had a little under a quarter when i got back...i was figuring getting fuel on the way back but didn't need to...;)

:nono::nono: Request Denied Senator the red fenders stay:D

...in the group shot i am also used as a marker..."yea, i'm 2 trucks over from the truck with the red fenders"...lol...;)
