...Trust me, I would rather be shopping for '78 f150 ra's right now..

...Where is he located???

...For some reason I want to say about 10 miles from you...:dunno:

...Adding insult to injury...

...I haven't had the funds to start on the RA's and the free stockers were no longer available...I went to get something out of the X and the rear passenger door handle broke and won't open from either the inside, or the outside..:(

...I am now off to search for that "Floppy Handle" thread...

Edit:..

..I found the thread but I don't think that's my problem...It must be that plastic clip inside...:(

...A couple updates:

...First, my handle is fixed...After thorough investigation, my dog must have pushed the lock button down..

...On my rear window fix, I thought I had a problem...I was driving down the road with all the windows up the other morning and all of a sudden the newly fixed window started to go down intermittently...I got to a stop sign, turned around, and found Harley stepping on the button while looking at it and when the window would come down a little bit, she was straining her neck to sniff the air...Then she would look down and step on the button again and repeat...:D

...My RA's...I just yesterday found a new little rail shop and stopped in to chat with them...I set up to be back at 5 last night...I stripped the RA in the parking lot, they welded it together, painted the weld, and I had it r&r'd in 2 hours...The cost was $30 bucks....These guys are open late for after hour projects and I will probably have them weld my new RA's once I get the parts all gathered...:biggthump

...I am in need of a set of stock RA's to cut up if anyone locally has a set just sitting around...Thanks...

Ha, my cat did that to us on her first road trip with us! Too funny!

I might have someday soon if i get around to getting the other arms fixed and on the X

for a "price" of course;)

...You know I can get that ear welded back on for ya...:p:

...I will also have my other set that is currently on the X for sale in the hopefully not to distant future...

.....That reminds me...I need to bump my current for sale thread...

ya but what about reinforcing it so it does not break again?

...I'm sure you could work something out with them or you contact nodnarb as I believe he has done a few...

...I was just suggesting welding the ear back on for the swap of the stockers...;)

...As for them not breaking again, I am not in good opinion, for the Superlift RA's...:(

...I got side tracked while helping some one with their Ranger...

...And then I got this badge of honor in the mail today...:biggthump

...It must be time to start getting the X ready for Truckhaven...

...It's been 21 months and my right front spindle nut finally came loose...:hammer:

...Edit to above post...

...I have previously been doing a lot of work on the "Project X" while my Ranger has been working it's butt off as my DD/work truck....It's time for a change...:shifty_ey

...I have decided I am going to work on the Ranger for the next couple weeks and get it ready for it's Truckhaven maiden voyage, and catch up on some maintenance...I really haven't done much to my Ranger for 2 years so it's time to show it a little lovin'...:hammer:

...After the Ranger project is about finished, I will resume work on my X...:salute:

...Still working on the Ranger but I just replaced the battery in the X again with another interstate battery under warranty...

Do you prefer using interstate batteries? I've been shopping around and I'm leaning more towards an Optima red top battery, 3 year replacement warranty.

SlickCar.com has them for $89.99, Everywhere else appears to be over $115 or higher :(

I know the owner of an interstate batteries store in Bloomington Ind and I get discounts ;)

Otherwise I could just grab one from Napa or carquest, I get 33% off at Napa and 15% at carquest. The napa discount never seems to help much and I have to tell them fifty times to give it to me and half the time I don't get it even after telling them :(

So unfair, My grandfather worked there for well ever...

Nice explorer btw Tbars ;)
I like the ranger to, I bet it get's good gas mileage :D
