That's the spirit EF'ers!!!!
Thanks for the offer Kris, but I'm afraid if a lot of people pulled up in your cul-de-sac, we might po a lot of neighbors.
If we do not end up wheeling, wouldn't an area such a lake or such be the area to have a meet and greet? I am still hoping for some wheeling by everyone who wants to or can. There is a small area near me that is free and opened to the public at "city lake". Our lake is not what most people would call a lake. But only open during daylight hours, no swimming, fires etc. But it is a nice place to practice at due to the trails being suited for 2wd and a few obstacles. But believe me, it would not be a place for an off road meet, just a few people goofing off. This is where I got my rig stuck on it's first off road test with me. When I got stuck out there, it was right after a dam on a ranchers stock water tank busted and overflowed into that area. There was a nice water crossing that was shallow and it was fun running thru it.
Still searching and feelers are out there.
When the locations were put up for the poll, it was for meeting, and of course hindsight is 20/20. OK, Waco was just for S&g's since it is so close to me.
The screw ups are my bad folks. I should of considered wheeling areas when this started. I had noticed other areas having get togethers for members, and then after 01 and I talked about it, thought why not The Great State of Texas? (distance is a big issue, but just think how much distance is required in Alaska or north to south Ca.) If members from other states can make it, so much the better.
I have never seen a group of people spread across the country and even the world work so well together and pass info, jokes and jabs at each other in such a humorous manner. I am so damn glad that Gregg introduced me to the EF. (I am now looking at a F250 to replace my Silverado when the time comes, and I use to hate Fords)
Here's to the EF peeps (insert the flags of all country's that have EF members here)
