The SoCal Crew

I was just reminded that I have an engagement party to go to on the 20th :( that I can't miss. Why does this always seem to happen...murphy's law I guess.

If not, I got a tow strap, we'll just drag you through!:p

No front tow hooks, and it's a unibody. Maybe I should just ride along with someone. Also, what time would we be done? I've gotta be back in LA that evening to see my buddy's band play. They're playing in the Marina at a bar where all the waitresses dress like nurses. :D :D

I'm in. Think the Jeep can do it stock with 225/75/15 ATs?
John and I ran it last time with a few stock rigs. Toyota P/U, F350 quad cab long bed, H2 (although the H2 turned back thinking it was going to get harder) You can do it. . .just don't follow me :D

I'm glad you were entertained. Your tranny jack is still sitting behind the Ranger that I haven't laid a finger on; for some reason after downing a 6 pack the thought of you with my plasma cutter isn't that bad.

yah, haven't really used the cutter...or done any fab work for that matter since you were over. Ill hafta throw some tabs on purty soon for some limiting straps in the rear, so I'll cut em w/ the plasma. hehe, and don't worry, its safely tucked in my cabinet, the former home of the welder.

If we wait long enough the Jeep might be lifted (or dead ;) ).

Are Sunday's good for anyone? March 14 or 21?

Look at what I found in the trash... :D

Not really but I did finally get off my ass today and for once it wasn't raining.

 Holly ****! you really do have parts for the truck!:p

...and I thought it was a rumor!

I'll be calling you soon Steve.

Alrighty!;)

Yeah parts all over the place. I burned up my 21" computer monitor and had to spend transmission money on a flat screen so yet another delay but nothing that's gonna stop me from putting the axles under it.

Do you have any big jack stands? I finally semi leveled a work area in the front yard and just need some big jack stands or decent sized chunks of wood to put under the little ones I have. For some reason there seems to be a big price jump when start getting into the 24" and over jack stands... I might just go buy material and build my own. :D

Do you have any big jack stands?

Nope, but I could probaly borrow some from my dad as long as we gave them back:rolleyes: I don't have much unfortunely. I got a bunch of hand tools (big craftsman set) Cordless drill, and Dremal. Thats about it!:( I use to have access to a ton of crap at my dads but, now thats there and I'm here. It's ok though I don't have a place to fabricate stuff, and all the tools are pretty much for that. All in good time!...All in good time;)

As far as making some... Not that hard. I think my dad has a set that were home made. Very Strong!!

Sounds like it's time for an IMS run. :D Need anything? Know of any other places out here that are willing to deal small quantities for a decent price?

Yeah...IPS in El Monte I think.http://www.ipstool.com/
That's where I use to go. There's also a place we use go to in irwidale, off Arrow Hwy. But IPS is cheaper.;)
