Ok, got off work early and got some pics of the progress i've made as well as the wheel and tire combo I went with. These are 37x12.5R17 KM2's on 17x8.5 Walker Evans streetlocks. I got the cast finish with standard (polished) rings since they are no charge, if you want colored rings they are $15 a piece. I figured I'm gonna scratch them up anyways so I'll paint them myself and save a little money. I also bought the Staun beadlocks but I tried installing one and it's a real PITA so I gave up. I may install them at a later date or just sell them...haven't decided yet.
Got a couple pics of the new upper link mounts on the axle which now are level wheras before they followed the angle of the axle truss...if that makes sense.
The reason for this is that the rubber bushings would bind up when flexing to the point where the jam nuts would work themselves loose.

On with the pics:

Them wheels is Perrtyy! Me likey!

Walker Evans beadlocks = ultimate bling!

Links are lookin awesome too!

Thanks...forgot to mention I went with the street locks.
Still working on a trac-bar mount solution, need to order a 3" flex joint from Ballistic Fab to finish the trac-bar as well.

Some guy off Pirate bought my old beadlocks and tires for his EB.

Damn dare i say those wheels are sexy looking!

nice choice!

...just curious, will those wheels fit my ranger???...:shifty_ey

...that paint match really works...

...hahaha, i just got some cool tools...j/k

...i can't wait to see it at truckhaven...:D

Alrighty, i'm happy to say that I've finally finished all fabbing and welding today:thumbsup: Now it's all the little things to get buttoned up: Bleed the brakes, charge the coilovers, set my ride height, adjust steering and probably a few other things I'm forgetting right now. My main concern is with the tires rubbing the coilovers on uptravel, I was only able to lean the c/o's in so far because of the master cylinder. Tomorrow i'll get some pics of everything put together, keep your fingers crossed.

Now you just need to paint your truck all one color:p:

I have something in mind but cage will probably happen before that;)

I have some 5 on 5.5 wheel spacers you can give a try if you want. I am planning on putting them on the front but if you want to try them you can. I think they are 1.5" thick. What joints are you using for your tracbar? I have some big johny joints but am concerned they may be to big.

Thanks Matt, i'll get the wheels on and find somewhere to flex it and see if it rubs. Let you know if i wanna try them out.
As for the trac-bar, I thought about a few different to make it but ended up using 3/4" heims on both ends with 1 3/8" x 1.88 wall tubing and Spidertrax hexed weld-in bungs. I was gonna use one of those Ballistic 3" monster joints but i had no idea just how big it was until I recieved it:eek: I probably order another one and build some new lowers with them.

Did you see the write up on Pirate4x4 about these? Of course the Staun rep makes it look like a walk in the park to install em;)
but then again it might help too.....

Yeah, saw that thread and also watched the video Staun has on their site. The hardest part of the install is getting the final bead on the inner sleeve. Now keep in mind you have the inner tube inside that sleeve that wants to squirt out and to make things even more fun you are chaffing the hell out of the outside of your wrists...that's why the Staun rep is wearing those wrist gaurds, smart man:D At this point I was thinking to myself that tightening 32 bolts per wheel wasn't so bad after all lol.
