Back in for an update:

I had issues with cooking spark plug wires while towing- I cooked several wires before I contacted Bob about my problem. He recommended that I replace that side header with an improved version which allowed for more room for the wire. This was of course at no charge.

I got an email notification that the header was shipped to me VIA ups. I got the header as expected, but what I didn't expect was all new bolt for the header, two gaskets and a tube of locktite! I installed the updated version today, it has a couple of tubes moved a little for more room around the #8 spark plug.

Bob has been extremely helpful anytime I have called or emailed him, there was much effort put into the design of these headers, but what makes them so great is the ongoing support after the sale. I'd wager you will never find another manufacturer who will take care of customers so well.

Which plugs did you have problems with? Was it just #8? I should probably keep an eye on mine.

Yup, it was #8.

I cant wait to hook up new Torque monster headers on my baby mercury 5.0! u did good with all processing how fix it with out any prblm. keep it up good work!

Whoa, thats a lot of work, other vehicles are much easier. The instructions for the headers, are they included when ordered?

The headers come with written and video instructions.

It's quite a task, but well worth the effort.

Ah, so a contant steady sound would be something different then?

Yeah, a header leak will tick rapidly, increasing with rpm. It wouldn't make a constant sound
