Alright, I'm in and should hopefully be down there sometime around 4 tomorrow afternoon...

...but seeing as I'm the only thing close to a stock truck I'll most likely bow out if I start holding you guys up too much.

Alright, my brothers and I should be there mid day on Saturday until Sunday mid day. I'll miss the main day-run unless I head out to find the group. Someone post the CB channel you will be using just in case. Otherwise we'll just drink beer until the night run.

If no one is going to be there in the AM then I'll get there a little later. I'll be staying in Borrego Springs.

That SUCKS! Lets get together and buy it, just have it opened seasonally. Then we can put a huge work shop in the back with a full bathroom, showers, with some RV pads with full hook ups when we come out to camp.

yea and the Cody's Cafe at the Red Earth Casino/Truckstop is closed too.

...The Casino Cafe can't be closed...That is the only thing open after 10pm...Next you guys will be saying the Travertine is closed....

No Ted i am in East St. Louis IL. right now but i passed through truckhaven when i was getting a load right after the last truckhaven run and stopped at the Casino and yes the Cafe was closed up and gone.

But the Travertine Grill is still there and seems to be doing fine.

But someone is building a new truckstop down there by Marina Dr./86 so who know what it's gonna have when it finished or if it gets finished.

Travertine Grill sucks:thumbdwn: Rates with the worst burgers I've ever had... Pattys as thin as a McDonalds single cheesburger. The tomato on the burger sucked all the heat out of the poor thing.

Service was bad too... We were VERY disappointed that Superburger had closed

There is another place open with red earth right outside the subway. That subway is always under staffed. I had to 20 min to a sandwich friday
