Winter, called me just before he left for skiing this weekend, and he said that he just waiting to hear back from an outside source who he had presented his idea & drawing to, to see if this idea is cost affective or not. I have seen this system used on a Jeep with slider's, so it can be done. If it's not to expensive, then we will have them build them for us. Should know by the end of this coming week.

I thought about doing that with my rear bumper. I figure between both side I probally have a good 10 gal. of space:thumbsup:

Three month BUMP!

Any updates here.....:dunno:

Due to a slow down in the ecomony, I have put a stop to the build for a while. Even the rich people are hurting. My business is really off from last year. It also doesn't help that the illegal's are taking alot of the business away because they can do it much cheaper. (no licencse, Insurance, workmen comp. etc etc.) I'm all for Ariz. law.

No problem;) We can all relate. You got to do what you got to do.

even more reason to want the economy to rebound

we will be patiently awaiting the resuming of this project so we can all have somethin to drool at

There's got to be some progress on this in the past 9 months! And question for Paul B. or Froader or anyone else who may know...is the Winter who's building this the Winter from Newline, taught by Plank?

After more searching, I've found out that it is. When I met Winter I remember him telling me about how he got started and showing me pictures, but I didn't really know anything back then unfortunately and I barely remember what he told me. Now I realize who all the people he was talking about were/are. And I REALLY want to see this thing come back to life now! This thing is just incredible, like everything else that Larry Plank's "students" build.

I meant to ask Winter about progress on the rig last week when I called him. I'm in the planning stages of my cage build and it's nice to have a guy like that to give advice/opinions.

Matt - He did work for Plank for a couple of years before Larry died. He started Newline with Nester and decided it wasn't for him.

There hasn't been any progress lately because it's ski season!! :p:

Hi guys, I'm new at the forum and this is my first post... Just wanted to give my congrats for the amazing project and I really hope things get along and get to finish it soon so we can all drool back while following it.
Cheers from sunny Costa Rica, Moses C.

Bump......any progress Paul? :( Winter's honeymoon phase has to be over by now :p:

Yeah! But his 4th. Wedding Aniv. is coming up on the 23rd. of this month. But
he has been working on a brake system for the front and he plan's on doing a major write up on it when he's finished with it. So that's about it for now.

Ready to sell the 40's yet? I need something that size for our next project, and well I'm not sure if it's on means it's going to be finished soon, or in the next few years:p:
