took longer then i thought but i got it all done now. train horns and flowmaster 50 suv kit(sounds a little to low but i still like it)

hahahha i luv train horns!!i just got a new muffler too but i went with the flowmaster delta 40.so what are you trying to do motor wise?

i know theyre great. some of the people at work hate me and others wanted to come set em off lol
i wouldve gotten a super 44 but my pipes were bad looking and being the shop i prefer couldnt do mandrel bends i got the kit, which is only a 50 suv.
so i may get one later down the road

engine work, your inbox. to people wondering, not much matinance was done before i got it and it was sitting for a year. just pull and check over and add some perforance parts. and painting

also the horn that hangs my the shackle was moved. facing forward now on the outside on the frame above the exhaust tip.
the hose kept blowing out due to having to wrap around to the other side plus you could see the horn from behind the truck. now you cant tell i have them

That will never fly in va!!hahha witch 40 do you have and why do you want to switch?

Its just a original 40 2 chamber muffler. I want to switch just to quieten it down a little bit. Im also putting on a m90 supercharger sometime in the future and want to be able to hear it screeeeeeam.

i couldve wired it to the stock horn, they give you a rocker that goes between the air valve and the stock horn. but i just stopped at the rocker and grounded the other end

hey if you come cut mine off and weld the 40 on for me, sure

nothing has really been done recently. in the process of collecting parts and things painted for improving/freshening up the motor. also considering the idea of a 2nd car to drive so i can take my time with this

anyway, a new noise started yesterday
video of said noise below. ignore the ticking, thats not it (but if you can distinguish the exact sound and whats doing it, go ahead)
it sounds kinda like a nut or some metal rattling around in the trans or transfer case. its not causing any problems tho

when i get my new maf back from paint ill take a group shot of the little crap ive gotten so far

anyone else think its something rattling around in trans/xfer case?

various stuff ive collected so far. ive changed my mind on the build. just doing the intake, headers and changing gaskets. i think im gonna sell my flowmaster 50 suv and get a cherrybomb or two.

heres the pics. intake, valve covers and thermostat neck were coated by turdle. mustang 70mm maf was coated by a local jdm type place.

about your noise:

sounds something from the motor itself, T-Case would only make noise if it was in gear, , no moving parts = no noise?

sounds like maybe a cam bearing or something in the bottom end?

id suggest draining your oil in a pain and look for tiny shavings as u slowly poor it into a bottle (to fast you might miss the shavings)....

how about you just do the FREE TB mod for the shaft? some guys have tested a stock modded TB against the BBK TB and there is little to no difference.

keeper, can you possibly find me one? i see then for a couple diff gens of mustangs but idk which works. i know my maf was a 94/95 cobra, tb the same or no?

also can someone tell me step-by-step howto see how many amps i idle at? plan on getting this
