They also sell a 12" for Blazers that will fit 42's without trimming... it doesnt mean that its okay to run 42's on 10 bolt axles.zhanx said:well they sell suspenion kit for upto a 38 for rubicons.. whats that tell ya. it just might be ok.
Definately still interrested in that front diff!zhanx said:After i get everything cleaned up and inspected the cv's and front axle (if a certin person doesnt want it still) frotn gears and locker are goign on ebay to help fund this along with some other parts i have laying around. So look for more activity on this thread in a bit.
it was the outer bearing in the housing. I am gonna press it out and press in a new one should be fun.r37ribution said:Sorry about the wheel bearing trouble tho...
You can do this yourself if you have the time - All you need are new axle shafts - or have the existing shafts cut and re-splined. In fact, I would take this approach - this would let you set the caster angle as you'd need to remove the inner knuckles or "C"szhanx said:Anyways. I am searching for a local shop to cut down the axles i want to get. Need to find a place that can do it before i buy. If not its a great excuse to go full width just more $$$ ( new gears etc..)
oh you mean where the CV slides into? i havent worked on the front diff yet besides adding fluid lol. haven't worried about it much since i changed the rear gears now that it is useless...zhanx said:it was the outer bearing in the housing.
