Let me add to the list of problems
Where are you going to get glass that will let you tuck these 35's.
have fun in the rear end especially, theres no room for a 35 to tuck unless you gut it and open it up.
Yes, i know its an older explorer. but it barely tucks 35's...

BTF MAKES THE ARMS I HAVE ANOTHRER GUY WHO ALL READY HAD UPPER ARMS AND A SPINDEL READY TO GO
SO ITS NOT GOING TO BE THAT HARD TO GET THESE LIFTED RIGHT.
ALSO 35'S WILL COME AT SOME POINT I HAVE 33'S NOW SO.
TIME IS ALL THE KIT WILL TAKE SO HOLD YOUR BREATH AND WATCH AS THIS TRUCK WILL BE BUILT

Dude, i build trophy trucks for a living
there is no reason to just replace the upper arm, if your not going to do the lower too. Might as well get some travel out of them.
****, might as well throw a shock hoop on that *****, bolt in a king 12 inch coilover and make some steering for it....
What are you trying to get by just replacing the upper arm?

If i remember correctly, its the same front end.
Im sure they would be happy to make the 4wd kit into a 2wd kit (just not send you the axles and what not)

I am going long travel the upper arm is just a fix for any one dumb enought to think you can stick a 3inch spacer on top of a shock and not replace any thing else

And its only for 2wd's, most of us here have 4x4...

UNIBALL will be mounted in stk. spindle
but i have spoken with many people and i will have this truck lifted with new spindle uniballs and new arms
there are may options to go dont listen to any one who tell you its a bad idea get the plan thought out well and use a good fab'er
