I could see a $19 quote for a run of the mill piece of mandrel bent pipe. But when they have to set up a single run to bend a custom angle then the price skyrockets due to the added setup costs.

Yep i know why i am paying it.$30 pipe,$10 custom charge,$10 cancellation fee and plus shipping.

The pipe was 3" with wall thickness of .120 with a 80* bend and a CLR of 9" and 12" tangents

i wish they carried 3.25" tubing,so the ID would be 76mm not 70mm:thumbdwn: or i wish i saw this pipe for $32 NOT $78 IM PAYING:thumbdwn:

No im having one made.here is the pipe i ordered but canceled and had them make me a custom one.

Ok now im *****ing!!this is BS!!hust got my bill from global and it was $79.30!!! WTF its only a 3 foot piece of pipe,$50 was getting ridiculous but then $28 for shipping COME ON!!thing weights one pound!! If i knew it was going to be this much i would have canceled a long time ago.i can get the same pipe just with 4" shorter legs for $30 shipped!!!!!!

blk Mk8.....maybe once I know what I need for a tube to go between my TB and maf I can get you to bend me one. I'm impressed with the work! Extremely professional.

No dont get me wrong,they have been very helpful and are doing a one of custom piece for me.$10 of that $50 was a cancellation fee so the pipe was about $40 so thats not to bad.what i dont understand is the $30 shipping???? I ship stuff ALL the time,part of my job.i ship $60 pound units in boxes that are 40x24x14 so i dont see how a 2-3lb pipe that can fit in a 24x24x4 box could cost $30 to ship!

I hear you. Everything I buy comes from the USA. Sometimes shipping is reasonable, sometimes its not. Im not sure why. Sometimes duty absolutely destroys me. Shipping ups is the worst. Their brokerage fees sometimes cost as much, or more than the item I purchased.............

Yea like i said they have been great.called them to ask about why it went from a under $20 shipping quote to $28.30 charge. She did not know why and said even $20 would be high.she said the only thing she could think of is they didnt have a box and stuck it in a very large box.she said to weight it and take the dimensions down and call her when i get them.i should have put it on my ups account as its a military account.i really need to start watch how much im spending!!its getting stupid putting this much money into this truck especially when i only drive it 4-5 times a year now!!

i can make custom bends and pass along discounts that you might not get some where else. i can send you some pics close up of some of the pipes the only down sides to any pipes i do are the clamp marks. there not bad but some people choose to go some where else.

Can you do a 180 deg bend on 3 1/2" stainless (or aluminum) so I can get rid of the rubber "clothes dryer" intake tube I hate so much?
