A buddy of mine is fabbing me up a new bumper and it's looking pretty big. Like 200lbs+ big.

Is this going to cause the front to sag considerably?

Handling issues?

My 31's -just- fit as it is, I haven't cranked the tbars yet, but will that be enough ya think?

Thanks!

i dont think you should see much difference

its low enough to not make it top heavy and not enough weight to weigh it down

Why is he building it so heavy?

It may not sag right away, but over time, I think the springs will sag.

Got the bumper mounted up, probably weighs 120-150lbs. I measured both wheel wells to ground and neither dropped more than an 1/8 of an inch.

Truck does feel a little more squirly but that might just be my imagination.

We'll see if it drops any more when I put a winch on it.

yeah i want to see a picture of this deer/moose/dinosaur killer

Well my camera has been broken for a long time but here are a couple of cell phone shots:

I also painted the grill red, the chrome face black, etc etc. I'll post better photos once I get a chance to borrow a friend's camera or something.

It's 3/16" steel with 1/2" frame mounts and three gussets underneath to support the top. The welder also capped off my frame rails to give them a little extra strength.

I'd like to take credit for it, but they guy that built it completely changed my original drawing so it's entirely his design now.
