I recently noticed what looks like bubbling/degradation under the clear coat finish on all 4 of the center caps on my 2017 Exp Sport. On a previous vehicle I had a similar issue but it was moisture between the clear coat and the actual wheel, causing an unsightly bubbling on the actual wheel surface. Any one else experience this type of thing on their center caps? Would it be unreasonable to bring this up as a warranty item with the dealer? Vehicle has 27,500 miles on it, and carries the Ford ESP for 8 years as well.

Not unreasonable to ask; still under warranty. Worst that can happen is they say “no”

It varies. Ask your dealer and if you don't like their answer, ask a different dealer. If it's just center caps, it shouldn't be a huge deal.

It is covered under 3/36k. Esp will not cover it. Get it in under your b2b.

Had mine replaced on my 16 three times.
