Corral Canyon Sunday May 3rd

DB1 and I are planning on heading out there to do some wheeling on Sunday. Anyone else want to join us? Probably run Bronco peak and sidwinder trails. Depending on the size of the group we might run them both twice.

Going to Magic Mountain on Saturday to see all the LA gang members beat up their Beeches.....Will be too tired to wheel on Sunday.

We plan on leaving my place around 7:15 or so. his should put us at the 4 corners area airing down around 9 am. If you meet us at 4 corners and park you need a forest adventure pass so you do not get a ticket. We could meet you along the way and pick you up though.

Had a good but short trip out. Only saw a few jeeps out there but none on the trails we were on. Weather was great. Got about 3 hours of wheeling in before I broke another front axle shaft. Dave and I both added a few more dings to the body. Bob took a few pictures hopefully he will post them up. Fun times till Dave almost rear ended me. We were getting on highway 67 when the car infront of me decided to do a u turn and start going the wrong way. I slam on my brakes and stop as does dave and stops a few inches from the back of my truck. Then she realizes she is going the wrong way and does another u turn in front of us again to get going the right way.

All you web wheelers missed out and I am pretty sure a few explorers would have had busted some back windows with us today.

I'd like to get out there once my POS is fixed and running again.

EDIT: I went out and looked under the hood. It runs fine now , but I still need to fixe the axle shafts.

This hose came off, so I put it back on and added a hose clamp.

Should have brought your junk down saturday afternoon and we could have swapped the axle. Then you could have gone

That trail was fun, seems a bit harder going down it than up like we did last time.
I hate that damn tree! I caved in drivers door handle pretty good and I thought it broke for sure but it still works as does the window

I think going up is much easier. Maybe in a month or two we can give it a go again.

Thanks for the pictures show. To bad we didnt get a picture of when we nearly vertical coming down that rock Always check the back side of an obsticale before driving over it.
