Shifting from 2 to d is fine even at high rpm no biggie
Trans should be able to take it no problem
It’s shifting into r that is a bad idea t highway speeds lol lol

I don’t miss traffic

I bumped my bronco ii into R at about 45 mph, it locked up the rear 35" tires, It wasn't for long, i instantly popped her back into D, realizing my mistake
I am still driving on that same transmission!! SCARY whoops I thought for sure i would find metal in the pan

keep up the great work with your advanced studies, it can take you far!! maybe a flying car in your future....but Im sure So Cal will still find a way to have "air traffic" hahaha

Wooweee!!! Yeah, I hope not to do that one 😀

Haha, thank you! Although my research is more likely (at the moment) to amount to figuring out how the universe works, rocket propulsion, and fusion energy! Most of it is the tinkering building and testing, stuff I am fmailiar with! The actual science behind plasma physics when I figure out my hypothesis... well that's a bit less intuitive to me... but I'm learning! But Im pretty sure if we put people in flying cars, we'd have even more accidents!🤣 If Baylee is interested in workign with class 4 lasers, gases, and making light & radiation, plasma physics might be the field for him!

So
Plasma audio tweeters are the bomb.
Probably, since my guess is there wouldnt be the woofer moving back and forth, so less moving parts, it would be more precise since theres no moving back and forth, assuming its ionizing some gas theres less resistance and it can liekly be more accurate.

Edit: I googled it and they do exist! I will look into these!

Baylee’s into skateboarding, his girl friend, getting his grades up and gearing up
For ski season. Hahahaha you are way ahead of your teenage cohorts my friend keep it up

Nothing wrong with being young, cars cost the same amount, if not more! 🤣 Ski season for me means time to work on the house & cars in the off season :p

R for race? (I kid)
Why JP was on it's 2nd trans ar 110k 🙄
CSUN would definitely be!!!!! But classes aside, I love the research Im doing now on plasma physics (I do some crazy stuff!) But if I did CSUN i could definitely work on werkdays (since classes for me generally 9-4 then research then homework...)

Yhe biggest draw of the UCs for me is the research Im doing... I can make black holes under westwood!

Its whatever Ill figure it out! Aside from the commute I pretty much love everything Im doing now... so I will see...

Sounds like you should be commuting to Pasadena then ....🤔

:o !!!!

I wish!!! But I'm not bothering applying to CalTech too competitive 😂😂😂 They told me I had no shot anyways, but it'd certainly be an easier commute!

My best alternate is UCI since I have family out that way at least so that can probably work

Cal poly technical institute? That’s where my
Dad got his original degree waaaaay back in the 60s
I almost went to the Pasadena Center of Design (for auto design) but I didn’t want to live in California when I was 18
My whole world was in Colorado.
So I went to rmcad instead (Rocky Mountain college of art and design) but dropped out early to design elevators for the next 25 years
Much of my family went to usc as well…. Booo at ucla! Hahahaha

I eventually got
My automotive Degree from T.S.H.K.

“The school of hard knocks”

Im lookint at Cal Poly Pomona!
CalTech is a university in Pasadena they do lots of research but too selective
Boo!!!!! Next Saturday, well know who is better this year!!! (For the uninitiated, the USC UCLA football game AFAIK is next Sat)

Pomona is a drive. I use to commute from Burbank to Ontario every day. It was only a hour drive, but 50 miles each way. Me and my boss would switch off carpooling.

Dad used to commute to Pomona for work until he got moved to Alhambra... certainly a drive, but doable!

Think I need to find friends with 4x4s (my best friends al drive compact cars) since I've been taking friends more & theres so many trails that are more technical I want to do haha. Not doing it solo though. Musings aside it still cleans up well. Spent an hour or two wash wax & threw on tire shine over the dirt 🤣

Realized I didn't have any text for yesterdays post- Went up to Gorman (there is a 100 vehicle limit & no camping at the moment) to Alamo Mtn & Frazier torward Antimony Peak.

Cant seem to find extended bump stops for these in the front when I catch air/unexpected drop I realized I chew up the tires when I bottom out since I have bigger tires the tire seems to chew against the fender as it bottoms out... so it seems I need bump stops a little larger to avoid this. Anyone have leads on ext bump stops?

Considering these theyre universal it seems need to check the thread see if it fits https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CNB5O...2WMBVA0GJ0Q64K2XB&starsLeft=1&skipTwisterOG=1
