You wanna borrow stic-cam:p:

talking about the stic-cam, is it fixed and ready for cleghorn II???

So the boredom kicked in and I reworked the van a little. I think this is the way I'm going to go.

Lifted a little with bigger tires and AR Mojaves.

Vans are cool...

I took the 2 most rear bench seats out today. HOLY CARGO ROOM BATMAN!! My cruiser is about 2' away from the back seat and 2' from the rear doors.

Before you ask, yes it is ultra flat black with a license plate circa ~1982 that says COLIN. :p:

is that when capes were in....:D

how does your mattress fit in there ???...it looks like those are quicklatch removable seats???

POST 12,000!!!

Yes, they are quick and easy to remove. I have all of the brackets that you can see in the pic, out now. I put the bolts back in until I find something that will work better to cover the holes.

There have big rubber boots on the heads of the bolts... :shifty_ey

Colin, My dad said he has a set of SD wheels he'd sell ya for cheap, they are the ones that look lile the Alcoas. With caps for $150;)

Like these..16" I think;)

i wonder if they make a cap for that??? i'm sure they would for differnt setups ....and congrats on 12,000...wow, thats a lot of chatting :salute:

Steve, I may take him up on that deal. It may be a little while before I can do it though.

That's cool, there just collecting dust...;)

{sigh} My parents had one of those... it was the vehicle I learned to drive in. I personally never hit anything per-se... Once snagged a telephone pole stay cable with the bumper, but that was it. Ours had a custom interior in it (it seated 12 12 instead of 15 so we had extra leg room), so the seats were all removable or reversible. We weould flip the middle row around and set up an RV table in between the back two rows for road trips. Board games, coloring, maps, etc were a blast, and everyone got a window seat with room in the middle for pillows, games, and other junk to occupy us.

Enjoy it!!

(When's the Quigley conversion start?)

When money permits, so.....7-10 years? :p: :(

I also want to get the pop top before anything else. This is going to be a very, very long project to get it 'finished'.

How are you going to accomplish the pop up top?
To me that would be the second coolest feature of your van--

v-10 is hard to top you know--

I'd much rather have the diesel than the v-10, my grandpa had one in his f-250 for 2 years, he hated it, especially the gas mileage, 5-7mpg while towing his 35ft. 5th wheel. He bought a diesel a couple of years ago and loves it. is getting 10-11mpg while towing the same 5th wheel.

The pop top (like in the pic of the what I want it to look like) is done by a few different companies. I guess they just cut the top off and install the expandable top, and it's actuated like RV slide outs.

we got 17.3 on a road trip down to north carolina and back.
that was calculated not what the truck computer was saying
