Looks like rain all week.should set up for a muddy and wet weekend.do we need to bring any firewood firewood or anything else?don't think im going to bring the skeet machine just don't think we will have time.
Nope just the rear, front is open. For the 3rd gens it's not good to lock the front unless its selectable b/c the 4x4 3rd gens always have at least 5% power going to the front wheels (no hubs) and that could get squirrely in the snow and ice.
I guess I could put an aussie in the front and install a cutout switch to the transfer case to keep the front from getting power on the street, but then anytime I want to flip the switch and use 4x4 I'd be locked in the front with no way of unlocking it.
So only option is to leave the front open, put a LS in the front, or put a selectable up there.
I've been looking at the true trac I was looking in 4 gen and it would work for me since I have advancetrac RSC.....
EDIT I have 3.73 with the ls rear already (power on road is fine we will see off) doesn't seem regearing the axles would be worth it and while I want selectable lockers with cost about triple it'd be next summer at the soonest so I may be just ordering a ls for front for a Xmas gift LOL
