I don't believe the Trick-Flow heads would be required for your application, though the weight savings wouldn't hurt on our trucks. The GT40's we have now flow well in stock form and a bit of port work will wake them up. The stockers can also use some aftermarket roller rockers and springs, but you do need to look into replacing the stock cam. I currently run the Trick-Flow stage 1 cam, Springs, Street Heat intake and some Comp Cam Rollers. All these parts combined are great, but the stock transmission shift points and converter really hold the combo back. No dyno time on mine yet because there is only one AWD dyno in town and truck is currently down for the winter for a laundry list of upgrades. Now I actually run a mildly built 5.0 in a AWD X, so I am speaking from expierence and not internet theory!
