Helloooo Eddie!

I've got a stupid question?
What is the difference between the Eddie and the Limited?

The Limited is supposed to be the highest-end Explorer and the Eddie isn't far behind. Different strokes for different folks. I've always preferred the Eddie myself.

And for a number of years the Limited had heated seats and the EB doesn't....I think. I'm not 100% sure on that though.

Good score on the EB though Brad. I know you'll be happy with the 4-door

I've got heated seats. Took some getting used to today. I almost cooked myself. Gets pretty toasty.

I've got your alternator (by way of BBQ Hotdogs), diamond cuts and rims on the Eddie. Your Limited lives on. ;)

Sweet :) I didn't know the alternator would fit

I kind of lucked out after the fact. I read last night that the V8 and SOHC share the same alternator (or "generator" as Ford calls it). The OHV has a different one. :D

for the OHV a F-150 alternator is a bolt on 130 amp upgrade, small witring changes needed.

Sad to see the sport go, but good luck with the new ride, celly. :chug:

:bounce: Still waiting for pic's :bounce:

I refuse to put up a pic of a grimy/salty Ex. It's been too cold for a wash. I'm actually in Mexico next week so it might be a while. ;)

Thanks dude. I came across that link a week or so ago and I've got it programmed now.

Mazatlan has been great. Great weather. Low humidity. Much needed relaxation. :D

Sorry I was so late on the info. :chug: I need a vacation too.

First Look

Been lazy on the photo front. Took this today during a Sunday afternoon drive in the country.

man, how cool would that look if you painted the chrome part of the bumper green to match !!!!!!!!!!!

either way, looks sweet to me

looks great...but paint the wheel center caps black(the black part insted of the tape..haha)

Those rims are just for my snow tires. Scored them for cheaper than it would have cost to get plain black "steelies" for winter. I covered up the "Limited" label with some cheapo Ford badges. Looks fine for my purposes. The OEM teardrop rims will go back on in the spring.

I wasn't sure about the chrome thing at first, but it's grown on me. Thanks!

Good luck with the new EB. I have a 98' EB and so far so good just turned 181,000 miles and have no problems yet except I still cant get used to the AWD in snow compared to my old 93' with part time 4x4. I only wish I had the heated seats like you that leather gets mighty cold in the winter! What kind of milage are you getting? Mine fluctuates from about 18mpg in the summer to 14mpg in the winter.Just wondering if this is normal?
