Our '92 purchased new has about 220k miles, replaced the engine at about 155k but transmission is still going strong. The '94 I purchased as the 3rd owner with 215k or so and had rough use (towing and carrying firewood). It's engine and transmission had been rebuilt and I changed out the rear end with a used one (with just 115k) because it was extremely noisy. It now has about 240k and is also going strong.
I have a 1994 XLT with 132,000 and at lease the second transmission. The transmission was installed by the previous owner from patc so I hope it lasts for a bit.
