How to: Warrior Shackle Installation (pics)

I put lift shackles on my Mountaineer mainly to fix the saggy rear-end which it did but now I'm wanting to lift it more with a BL and TT up front. Here's my question: when I put the longer shackles it basically just flattened the arch on my leaf springs therefore I didn't get much lift at all. Maybe an inch? Can I just put helper springs on the back help add some arch back in my leafs? I know I could have them re-arched and/or replaced but I'm on a tiny budget. Any input would be appreciated.

You can mix AAL and shackles, that isn't a problem.

The war-153 only lowers one side and while it looks like the springs are move flat, it just rotated the arc of the springs some. That is why a 3" difference in mounting points only gives you about 1.5" of lift.

If your springs are in bad shape it will won't help the springs themselves though. The AAL (full length is better) will change the spring rate and is the better solution for sagging springs.
