No such thing as overkill. Dana 60 rears and 14 bolt rears can be had cheap. Plus some of the 14 bolt rears can be as narrow as 61" I believe which isnt much wider the the 30 front and if you are getting a custom front anyway thats no problem. Then you could run some of them new 40" MTRs

I was rotating my tires, so I figured I'd mount them onto my new axle for kicks. Turns out that the D30 is actually 2" wider than the Ex stock. (yes, this was a pain without a tie-rod). . .

. . .so my fenders will no longer cover my tires.

Holy crap Jefe that is awesome man! So that thing has the same exterior mounts as the D30 huh. That's alot of money, but in my mind that is perfect. No cutting down, no buying adapters, just right! Very nice.

I'll be doing all the fab work myself, but yes, that is the plan. Thanks for the link.

I took the outer CV's outer cup off of the half axle and running like that.
