I gave 200 bucks for my axle. Calipers and steering links were included. There is no way i'd give 600 for a D30, you could get a nice D44 for that.
I've not got any of the suspension components yet, that will be up to Cory when he figures it out.
The cable setup is a manual "switch" for the D30. If and when you get a D30, take the vacuum actuator off, 4 small bolts and you can move that fork with your hand, while moving it, put your fingers over the vacuum line holes and you'll stop it, you are stopping it by cutting off the air to it. Really simpe, there are only 3 lines on there, you can figure it out. It is only a temp. fix until i feel like forking out $200 for the cable.
Don't worry about the manual locking hubs, you won't need them, it is a HUGE was of money on the D30. They aren't very reliable.
Robb, i'll say hi to the Yuppie for you! Yeah i'm going to leave my tires there. If Cory wants we'll put them on there and maybe cycle the suspension if he wants, but that depends on if he's got any of the steering done.
I got my baby last night. Trailered her home in the snow. My tow rig did really well, first time i've towed with it. Cruised right along in OD.
Yomie, see ya tomorrow.
Happy trails!!
