Just got keyed

Some 120 pound environmentalist piece of **** cowardly pr!ck mother f*cker keyed me good today. I am so f*cking amped right now I'm slightly shaking. If I had one wish, I wish I could've caught the *******, but maybe it's best I didn't, because I'd probably be in cuffs right now.

Anyway, for Monmix and others, what can you suggest to try to reduce the ugliness? It's slightly wavy, dug in deep but not down to bare metal, I don't think. I looks like they got me once down the drivers side front and rear doors, and then decided it wasn't good enough, and came back and did the drivers side door deeply.

Any help appreciated. Sorry for the language, but I am livid right now and need to get this out.

Sucks man. I feel for you. My first (and only) new car was a 2001 Focus I bought in late 2000. In March of 2001, somebody keyed a bunch of us in my apartment complex. Never felt so violated in my life.

Just out of curiosity, as a 155lb environmentalist who happens to love his cars fast, trucks big and meat red (I'm a bit of a contradiction!) how do you know it some environmentalist? It sounds like you know exactly who it is though, so are pressing charges or just getting revenge?

You can get digital video cameras really cheap now-a-days that can be easily concealed. Have you thought of trying that?

I have NO clue who it is. I'm just assuming. Who else would randomly target my vehicle, a lifted SUV, and no others in the lot? I was parking in my friends apartment complex lot helping him move out, so I don't have the slightest clue who it could have been and don't know anyone other than my friend who lives there. Like I said, I wasn't parked within 3 spaces of any other vehicles, was parked inbetween the lines and not like a jackass, etc. I have nothing against environmentalists, but I'm 95% sure this is the type who did it, because there's no other reasoning for it. I consider myself an environmentalist, so don't take my comments the wrong way.

At least your story is not that bad to tell. The Jeep I had before the Ex was keyed by an ex-girlfriend when it was parked at the strip club, when I was supposed to be at work. Now try telling that to the insurance company and your family. And before anyone asks, yes she used to work there. Anyway sorry to here about your luck.

Thanks man. it definitely wasn't anyone I know or have pissed off, because when I left the university parking lot the truck was fine. Drove straight to my friends apartment, parked there, went in to help him, came back out and it was keyed. It's someone who lives in the complex.

You forgot, he's got fugly glasses, wears sandals, and plays frisbee, ultimate, and frisbee golf. He probably carries a shoulder bag instead of a backpack too, and talks about "the man" a lot. He also probably talks about how all we need in the world is peace, but yet will key cars because it is cool and lifted. You will find him rolling in a tiny car that you could run over, with a tornado in his intake, and a "peta" and sticker on the back.

Nah, it couldn't have been. I doubt anyone would follow me 15 minutes away to key my vehicle when they know where it is every day in the university parking lot. This definitely was not related to Villanova.

I doubt it. I was there in the middle of the afternoon when all apartment residents were at work. The parking lot was all but empty. There was maybe 10 cars there, and none around me. Someone couldn't have been pissed off enough to key me when the lot was basically empty and there were spots open closer to the entrance to the building than where I was.

Man that sucks. Sorry to hear about it. I can only imagine how angry you are. I was extremely angry when I found someone stuck their gum between my hood and bug guard. Definitely check the apartment complex to see if they may have gotten it on tape. Get any pics of the damage? Maybe we can see how bad it is and direct you from there.
