MFT Update

Started mine manually, too. Went without a hitch. Did not have to reconnect phone (did it on it's own). If you are experiencing any of the problems listed in the TSB, see you dealership for the phone line complete installation. Not sure if this update alone will help all of your ailments (I had none when I started).

Is it just me or do some of the other digits appear bigger than they were before? Seems like ones on the home page are slightly larger. Let me know what you think...

And cnsheets, you have to know that your picture was the first thing I thought of when the install finished the the outside temp popped up on the screen. I had a good laugh at that one!

Updated without a glitch, manually and noticed same as you, slightly larger font size.

Any word on additional updates this year?

Erase your thumb drive and redownload again from syncmyride.com ....

There are issues with fords site, the files are corrupt,and or missing...trying again...keeping my fingers crossed

LOL... There's just no pleasing some of you. Since it was posted on SyncMyRide, where it was supposed to be, I'd say they communicated just fine. Considering how some of you badger the hell out of IVT, I don't blame them one bit. I'm surprised you guys haven't driven them off the site yet. Rebecca nor Cory make any of the decisions on what they are allowed to post. They have bosses and are accountable to them... not you. It’s very possible that neither of them knew the update would be released when it was. It’s also possible that Ford didn’t want it widely published to minimize issues should there be any and to keep traffic at SMR to a manageable level. Or maybe they just want to piss you off?

Assuming that they knew about it and were given the ok to post it... yeah sure... but then again you'd find something else to moan about.

Did you load the update? Did you have an issue with it? Anything constructive to add? Just trolling?

I don't want to interrupt a lively discussion, but...

I wanted to report a successful installation of MFT 3.2 in my 2013 Edge SEL. Did not have to repair phones. Only visible difference so far is that the temp is with the time at the top of the main screen.

It took exactly 22 minutes to install...

Fords list doesn't say anything about that....only that it takes awhile and do not turn off the car...

They added the option in the vehicle
settings-gauge section the ability to select Fuel+Tach or fuel.

The following is the text from the SMR website that describes the 3.2 upgrade:

If your vehicle is equipped with optional SD card Navigation, DO NOT download this upgrade. A replacement SD card is required to complete the Performance Upgrade. Eligible owners should receive the upgrade and a replacement SD card by mail. If you have questions, please contact your authorized dealership.
This new software release provides faster touch-screen response and enhanced voice recognition interaction. Graphics have been simplified and controls made easier to use. Support for tablet devices and Audible.com audiobooks has been added as well. For navigation equipped vehicles, it provides enhanced navigation maps.
This software contains all previous enhancements, so there is no need to install any other updates.

That is the "Performance upgrade" 3.0.2. The upgrade released over the weekend is 3.2.2 Other than the Temp / Clock I haven't seen other added "features".
