MFT Update

That was already available, I've been using it since delivery. It may have been part of the 3.0.2 performance upgrade, but my Ex was delivered @3.0.2.

That is the "Performance upgrade" 3.0.2. The upgrade released over the weekend is 3.2.2 Other than the Temp / Clock I haven't seen other added "features".

I was mistaken. The section I quoted was from the UNINSTALL portion of the download. Apologies.

Hey Rebecca,

What about those of us that already installed it without issue? Does this issue include us? I haven't had any trouble with my install but I'm wondering if I should be on the lookout for something.

Thanks for the heads up!

We're still investigating; I'll let you know more when I get the info. :)

Thanks for alerting us Rebecca, but it would be a little more helpful if the general nature of the issue was made public. Is it just a wrong version on something in the package? A missing file? Since Ford knows something is wrong, I would assume you all have a general idea of what that is. Thanks :)

I knew i should have waited to see if there was any issues with the update before installing!

The update did go smooth with no error messages and the system seems to be more responsive. Time will tell?

I cannot speculate at this time, Vince.

I'm glad it went smoothly for you, Javelin62! :)

Okie-dokie Rebecca. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the low down when you guys figure out the issue. Thanks :)

I wonder if this has something to do with the error message I received? The install appears to be fine. I drove the Explorer up to Sequoia Natioal Park yesterday and everything seems to be working fine. Thanks for the information Rebecca. I'll keep my eyes open to see if there is an update to fix whatever is wrong.

Gotchya', Thanks!

You're welcome, guys!

Send me a PM with all the normal details if you encounter anything.

Looks like they pulled the update for now due to "technical issues"...and no release notes or changelog anywhere

The update seemed to wipe out my driver's seat memories. Other than that, I haven't noticed any adverse effects.

I went to the website and don't see any updates for MFT...as per people mentioned above.

First off, make sure you are in Internet Explorer, because the SMR website uses Active-X controls to install the files on your USB and verify the install.

It uses Java on other browsers, it should work fine from any newer browser, as long as you have java installed.

Weird, cuz it kept telling me "Unsupported Browser" and would not continue when I tried using FF (the latest one, 14 or 15 or 1000, can't remember, lol). Went to IE and it worked perfectly. I'd rather use FF.

I have used both Safari, and Chrome w/ no issue... If you were using the FF beta then possibly? I haven't personally tried w/ firefox, but I don't know why it would be any different than Safari or Chrome.
