Okay, here's the skinny:D As of today, there is a 66% chance that I will make it, a 33% chance that I won't. The other 1% is purposley left open due to our current state of affairs (who knows what clause:D ) Anyway, I should know for sure by tomorrow afternoon so everyone reading this needs to prey, chant, dance, or whatever your religion or belief calls for to help me out. My attendance falls in the hands of one STGCM, which is a sonar technician surface master chief (E-9, highest attainable enlisted rank). I will speak to him tommorow and find out the final answer. Hopefully it will be in my favor.

Ah, I thought you meant "BFE" in the old generic sense, I didn't realize an area near Moab was called that. Pretty neat. That must be the guys that bought Helldorado's land and the area around it?

That's exactly where Area BFE is!

I also found out yesterday that there will be a group of Binders (Internationals) in Moab the same week as the Bronco group, so there should be pleanty of other groups out on the trails.

I'll rub my buda belly for you Kevin :D

What's his favorite beer and shipping address? :D

Looks like we will be having a little company of the Ford persuasion on Friday and Saturday http://www.cobronco.org/ According to their website agenda they will be running White Rim (easy/mod) and Moab Rim (difficult) on Friday and will be in area BFE on Saturday, so there shouldn't be any major conflicts, but I just thought I'd let everyone know that there will be some more of us crazy Ford lovers im Moab at the same time.

HOLY CRUD!! They're planning on running the White Rim in one day! I feel sorry for those members who try that one.

Hehe.... like I also said, no friggin' way. They shoulda contact one of us that has actually run it before scheduling that trail in one day, huh Lee? LOL. They're gonna get to about midafternoon and then suddenly realize they aren't even 1/4 the way through, then think "omygosh we gotta hit the gas!!!" and jar the beejeebers outta their vehicles trying to get finished and then end up lost at midnight, then give up and camp out somewhere with none of them prepared or packed for an overnight stay.

Should make for great reading once one of them posts their trail dairy/trip report :D

Well, once again the needs of the Navy have outweighed the needs of my hapiness:( I will be flying out to Japan May 3rd and returning July 4th. The good news is I will be home in time for the baby to be born:D

At least I only have four more years until I retire from the Navy and even better, less than half that until I am on shore duty where I won't have to worry about deployments

I am probably jinxing myself by saing this, but if the dates for T-haven 2007 are in February as they were this year, I "should" be able to make that run.

Oh, dude that sucks. I was looking forward to the antics of the DIFF WACK DADDY!

I tried like hell to make it. Show (90ranjo) will still be there. He is going to use my F-350, camper, and trailer to haul down his ranger. He's lucky I haven't killed him out of jealousy yet:D

Yes, it does suck. I wanted to see the spotting and filming at the same time in person. :p

Kevin, about Truck Haven, you just say when you want to go and even if it's not the same time as the "Annual Run", we'll get the whole So Cal. crew and a couple AZ guys out there with you.

:chug:Sweet. Hopefully I will be able to make the scheduled run, but it's good to know there is other options.

That sucks Kevin.

Glad to see that Sho is going to step up to the plate and carry on for you at Moab. :D

I'm teetering on whether to cancel or not. The most recent gas calcuation is about $720 round trip based on $3.00/ga.

Gonna be $750-800 round trip for me coming from Seattle, plus fuel to wheel with, beer, food, beer....this is my vacation...the first time I've ever taken more than 2 days vacation in a row.

DAMN that sucks Kevin, we will missya!, be safe over there!

Saturday the 13th is a full moon. How about a night run? Maybe an easy run close to town?

Night runs during a full moon at T-haven rock, I bet it would be insanely cool at Moab!

Some guys from Colorado4x4.org did a night run on Hell's Revenge at EJS and said it was a blast. We could either do that or run the Southern leg of Fins-n-Things!

Oh and Kevin, tell Uncle Sam he SUCKS! :p

Ditto!
Just modified my reservations to arrive on Wednesday the 10th, for an extra day in Moab. Am planning on taking a nice easy run that day so I don't pull a Tom Davis and break it the first day. :p
I had to be moved from my spot so now I am about three spaces from TD, instead of across from Rick.
And..I had to buy some junkyard leaf springs from a 98 Explorer to tide me over on this trip because mine are totally shot and coming apart. Ordered Old Man Emu leafs last month, but they are on a slllllooooooooooooooooww boat from Aussy land.
