I just snail mailed press releases to Off-Road, Fourwheeler, 4WD&SU, and Off-Road Adventures. I also emailed their editors with the info. I also went around to a bunch of the "big" 4x4 sites and sent their editors press releases. Hopefully we'll get some good press from this.

Oh and I also emailed one of the engineers from Ford that I have kept in touch with. I asked him if he could reccomend a person within Ford to send the PR to. Who knows, maybe Ford would like to join us again.

Should we be spreading the word? I mean are we trying to get 10,000 trucks to show upor should we limit it to EF.com users/family/friends?

Explorer Moab Safari a yearly event? drool drool.

Explorer Moab Safari has been a yearly event for the past 5 or 6 years, where have you been :D

Should you be spreading the word? Sure why not. I already announced it site wide through email and have hit up the national publications. What's a few more people ;)

Hey I think I only missed one year! errr wait maybe I didnt? I dunno....

this is gonna be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome!
I wish it would come sooner though!

I wonder what Potatoe Salid Hill is like in a shorter wheelbase vehicle?
Rob

I wonder if Potato is spelled with an "e", LOL.

BTW Rob, I've heard that the view of Potato Salad Hill while in a short wheelbase vehicle looks somewhat like the view while inside a clothes dryer :D

Spelling.....

My computer uses a special Texas spell checker..... You can type it in correctly and it will be changed to the Most Understood version of the word.

I'm only going to pose for pic's on PotatoE Salid Hill...( Just like last time....)

That's fun we used to ride the clothes driers at the laudry mat in college, the ones with the little round glass window.

ok as of right now i am the biggest maybe there is. if i dont make i will be in iraq. otherwise i will be there.. my deployment dates are changing so i *may* make this after all (will do the best)

Well hopefully you can make it to the Fun desert... the one with gobs of traction... instead of the ashtray one with gobs of shrapnel...

Where do I get one of them Texas spellcheck thingies ??

Texas Spelling

[QUOTE Where do I get one of them Texas spellcheck thingies ??[/QUOTE]

It's more of a virus type deal. After 20 hours or more total exposure to shoppers at a Texas Walmart, or attendance at 1 State Fair, you will begin to automatically spell in a Texas Friendly Manner.

PS, This can also happen if you type while talking on the phone at the same time. Also known a an Activty Synchronization error......

Got my reservation in at Canyonlands.. A big group of zuks will be there too!

I'll be there Thursday night, and leaving Sunday morning.

SWEET!
makes my wheelbase seem long :) hahaha

I cannot wait! I have a big checklist of things to get done before Moab 06, hopefully I can get at least half of them done, as usual.

Just as long as the half that you don't get done doesn't keep you from being able to come. :)

jefe! NEVER! Hell I went one year with the wrong axleshaft on the pass side and a leaking from A4LD pump seal.... 3wd and a leaking trans in Moab was still a kick in the shorts, and I spent about 14 hours in the 100 degree sun trying to put my axleshaft back together, 3 times :) Before I finally just yanked the inner shaft, zip tied a dust cover of the exposed hole in the diff and wheeled on.......

(it was the year I installed the turned beams, my longer shaft was not ready in time, I wnt anyways)

My list is more of a wish list then a necessity, Sliders and roll protection are the big projects now, and I just got a welder. :)

That is a good thing so Patrick will have someone to hang with if he wants to since he really wants to take the Sami.
Now I need to find a trailer I can rent that will haul the Explorer & Sami.
I guess I better get my reservations made.

What are you gonna tow it with?

My dad's powerstroke. It won't even know the Sami is on there.

It would be nice if I knew someone that had a semi & trailer.
