I am borrowing a helmet from a dude when I make my runs. The track I am going to only requires a newer snell helmet for 13.99 and quicker, and any snell helmet is good for the lower stuff, even snell 95.

I emailed the track and they said they had A helmet for rent, $10 a day, for a backup plan. Maybe your track rents some helmets also?

No, but I did email them. They do rent them, but also said that on larger events they go fast-

Well-James I know you are looking-

Guess what I found? Remember when I had to remove the header to get the upper control arm out?
I didn't "bias" my egr tube in the correct position before re tightening it-and just by chance it was almost touching my breather tube elbow where it enters the valve cover.
This made a hole, which caused a substantial vacuum leak, which caused a ping, which I noticed about 1 hour from home on the return trip from Colorado-

I have fixed this today-and no more ping. Good to go James-

Oh, this also convinces me further on the cons of the breather atmosphere filter mod, and whether the PCV air must be metered. Of course it must. It eventually becomes combustion air-

I took the stock wheels and tires in to have them balanced.

I wonder if I can hit 100 mph?

Surely yes. Stock is around 82mph, my old slow Lincoln did 92 in the high 15's. You better hit at lest 100mph.

I was trapping 79-80mph with just my mac intake and cat back. So 86 is pretty high, that's all I'm trapping now, the sad part is I'm trapping 70mph at 1/8th mile

Sorry Eric, I just looked at my time sheet, it was 82.2mph and 17.16 seconds, 66.7mph at 1/8th. My truck was all stock for that, my baseline.
