New Camaro Concept

Haven't decided if I like it yet. I think the Challanger looks better. What do you guys think??

My first car was a 1984 Pontiac Firebird, which is based on the same platform as the Camaro.

I LOVE IT!!! Very aggressive, tuff stance... reminiscent of the Muscle car era...much like the new mustang is somewhat of a throw-back... I think Ford did an OK / good job with the new Mustang... Pontiac really F-ed up the GTO. This looks like it would do the Camaro heritage justice.

I am the opposite of Brian, I hate the Retro look. Get some new, creative ideas for Christ sake! The big 3 are capitalizing on the past. I hated the PT Loser, I hated the Thunderchickens, I hate the new Rustang and I don't like this. Leave the past in the past, Make something new.

I am stoked that the Camaro is coming back. I hate Chittys but the life sucks without competition. I hated Dale Earnheart, but NASCAR sucked after he died, I haven't watched it since 2000.

Undecided. I think the body lines are a little to sharp. I think if they took those same lines and radiused them more it would look a whole lot better. Smooooth them out.

I like it. It's defenitely better looking than the last version of the Camaro. Although I like the new retro look everyone is doing I would rather buy the real old iron cars. I agree with Chriswells78 about the PT Cruiser and GTO. I absolutely hate the new Charger, the HHR and the Chevy SSR truck too.

I think the color is throwing me off. If your going to show off a retro concept give it a retro-themed color scheme to get people excited. Why throw it out in a plain gray??

The more I look at it the more I like it though. I agree with you rookieshooter, smooth out those lines a bit...

That pic looks better than this one. I think it's ugly and doubt it will even be made. Why is GM thinking ahead to 2009? They won't be around

Looks WAY too much like the Cadillac. It's definately not a Camaro.

Now that I think about it, the Camaro has always broke with old molds and one generation never resembled the last. I guess this Camaro fits in with that history.

I like the current retro trend. I always wanted to do a resto-mod along the lines of what Chip Foose does with his designs. The new Challenger is exactly what I would expect from Foose if he was given that project. I think that's why I like it so much.
