Sounds like you are on the way to having a fairly reliable truck though. Aside from the current problem, it is still ticking (literally) at 240k.

Same with my Ex. Hopefully will have the shocks, LBJ and wheel hubs all changed before truckhaven.

So what do you do when you happen to have a perfectly good set of 33"x12.5"x15" KM2 already mounted on a set of 15"x8.5" aluminum wheels?

You break out the angle grinder with a thin metal cut off disc, trim some sheet metal, and slap them on your old work rig, that's what!

More incentive to swap out the axles on this thing now the bigger meats are on it. LOL

It was a nice ride with the 31"x10.5" on it, but it rides so much nicer with these on.

he still has the stock 3.27's in it, that why he just needs to give them to me, so he doesn't end up playing chicken with his transmission.

If the chance arrives (cost/deals) the axles will be swapped out for a better set of gears.

I appreciate Eric looking out for Pugly's best interest's, but those beastly tires will look pretty funny under a low rider...LOL :

Had to take more pics of it from better angles.

The hitch hangs way to low. I need to cut the cross bar off and flip it, then weld it back on. Should lift it a few inches by doing that. Might have to wait until spring, but that's okay by me.

31" tires uses the 17 T R-H white VSS gear
33" tires uses the 16 T R-H wine VSS gear

Looks like a hinge pin replacement is going to be done this weekend...oh joy!

Door wouldn't shut at the store tonight, so I broke the window vent visor trying to lift it to shut it.....Ack!
