DOH!

btw.. that propeller thing would be awesome up front!

Shackle mounts. Here they are so far. They'll end up being completely plated around so you cannot see the inner tubing (if that makes sense). But they should come out awesome.

I'll be making a removable crossmember to go between the rear shackle mounts as well. Stay tuned. :D

i like the cut of yo jib

in that last pic, it looks like the top plate of the right hanger is crooked.

Yeah.. it's a hair off. But I'll compensate for it when it goes onto the mounting plate. "Thank God for rubber bushings!" says B2Dude :p

But it's not as bad as it looks, that's for sure.

Front crossmember is offically in!

Smashing

I need some ideas/advice about strengthening the frame for the steering box. What do you guys think?

3/16" or 1/4" plat on inside and outside. Sleeve the holes so you dont crush the frame from tightening the bolts. Make it go a 3-6" past the steering box on each side. If the bolts stick out past the top of the frame the box it in and sleve it as well. Thats my ideas anyway.

This is what Jefe did, but I know he problems with it like this.

I plan to make a big plate of metal for the out side, and then two smaller pieces for the inside, sense the box has a hump that goes in the 1st gen frame. not 100% sure... I'll adress this issue in the week or two. :(

btw what vehicle is your steering box from section?

Mine is from a Toyota 4Runner.

fantastic, that makes it even easier!
here go start cutting and welding, we'll take care of this online thing.

10-4, I'm outtie.

Exactly what rockranger said to do - plate both sides, and sleeve the bolt holes.

3/16" is enough; 1/4" would be best.
