Curious why you picked the exhaust side to run the intake-unless a turbo is in the plans.
Its just out of convenience - and trying to keep the engine's profile as low as possible so the driver can see more of whatever is in front of the vehicle. But heat (from the headers) shouldnt be an issue, thermal barriers will be used to isolate the intake from the exhaust. And really, three out of four sides of the engines has an exhaust - the driver's side's header runs over the transmission. Also, I'm trying to stay away from putting anything over the serp. belt area so its easier to work on the engine accessories (hyd. pump, alternator, etc..).

come on now fess up, what kind of a turbo are you going to run?
:) -- it only runs on newts and salamanders though, so you have to constantly shovel dozens of newts and salamanders at it, kind of like the old trains.

^-- that looks to be Ronald Reagan and maybe Maniak posing on top of the turbo BTW.

No wonder why you want to keep the rest of the engine profile so low, that monster is going to leave you with a big enough blind spot as it is:D So I'm guessing your shooting for 30k, maybe 40k whp?

You're going to have some serious lag with that setup.

Didnt get much done this weekend cauz I woke up one day and found myself graduating with a degree in Being Confused:
