Sweet! I take it you have to get the heater core inlet fittings separately?

Also, it looks like that built in idler is widen enough for an 8 rib belt... :shifty:

nope. it comes with 2 pump gaskets, 2 other gaskets (dont know what they are supposed to be for) connector pigtail, and 2 barbs (looks like one it 5/8 and the other either 1/2 or 9/16) and instructions.
not 100% but you may be correct on the 8 rib belt. if i am not wrong the sock pulley is around 1 1/2 in wide while this one is 1 3/4 to 2 inches. guess it will depend on how far forward it sits. the diameter of is is also a tad smaller then a stock pulley. that helps me as well because i can hardly get the belt on because of lack of clearance between the crank and water pump pulley. just have to wire it all up (like that will be easy 🤣)
if your going to get one, look on marketplace andy. there was one or 2 within 500 miles of you that were refurbs but never used.

what felt like forever and day the supercharger pulley arrived yesterday. figured i would get a jump on it tonight and start seeing how everything would fit.
i got a little surprise.

granted this is my first rough fit but i thought i would have to put the hub on the snout, then flip the pulley backwards for everything to line up (front of the pulley would face the supercharger, not the rad). turns out, not only will i not have to do that, but i might have to shove the hub back further then i thought.

once again, rough fit and the hub is just on the shaft of the snout, but it looks like it will have to go back about a inch or so. when i got the high ram to me it looked like the top of it was far forward. i was right. the last mounts i made, the supercharger had to be set back a bit to make clearance because of the water cross over, as well as the sending unit holes. thats the reason why i have a m112 snout on my current m122, it is longer so it pushed the supercharger back compared to this one almost 2 inches. this helps because no more messing around with a different snout (i must have gotten lucky with the last one because i havent been able to locate one without dearly paying for it).
if you cant see, i am lining up the back side of the pulleys, not the front. this way you can use what ever rib belt and it will all line up the way it should.
on a different note, i also fount out for meth kits for a roots supercharger you can run them into the intake side and go through the rotors. i always thought that was a no no because you would rip any teflon off the rotors. turns out your safe. that will also help when i plumb everything in.
so during the week maybe as well as the weekend ill be out in the gas chamber hopefully locking this down.
its getting closer to winter being over. want some proof on how screwy the weather has been? last week, -35/-40C with the wind (-31/-40F) to today which it was 4C (39F). if that doesnt mess with ones system, i dont know will, but i know the snow is almost gone around this thing that wants out of the yard........until we get a massive blizzard and i am sure that will happen.....

The big Melt fest going on down here
April in February

Keep em coming!

I am looking forward to seeing if the setup will fit under the cowl hood with the intercooler that you posted a picture of.
If you could go out and just buy the intake, intercooler, and supercharger and they all just work (without modification) with a custom-made adaptor plate that would be a game changer. On the water methanol topic, I spray before the throttle plate. It has worked well for me, but I heard some spray right after the throttle plate. If your water methanol nozzle is after the throttle plate you will need a solenoid to prevent the vacuum from sucking the fluid out of the line when it is idling etc.
Good luck on the work and test fitting!

cant say for sure or not this would fit under a cowl hood with that intercooler. anything is possible. the snow has melted enough that i can get the hood open and do more measuring on height. i cant remember if i used a meth kit on my m90, but i did with my m112, the problem is i cant remember where. i think before the throttle blade but not sure. i do remember the rotors having the teflon stripped off them, so i thought it was because of the cooler water meth hitting hot rotors.

spent some time in the gas chamber today (and if you dont know why i call it the gas chamber, my heater is propane. when i walked out of there i was kinda tired, headache and achy. know what i mean....). i started with pushing the hub onto the shaft. i also had to do a redo. after looking at things, i had to flip the pulley backwards, and still push the blower back. because if that all my holes were in the wrong spot. problem one.
the inside of the pulley has a shoulder on it. with that there the bolts didnt fit, so a little clearance had to be done.

with that done, i figured i would leave some room at the front of the plate. i knew i had a lot of overhang at the back anyway. also it was a lot easier to do the holes for the intake first, then bolt it on and do the holes for the blower by figuring out how far back or forward it needed to be, clamping it to the plate drilling one hole taping it, then bolting it down and doing the next one. it worked well.

i didnt totally escape without a little modding.

fdc0977e-aded-491d-8801-8ae092341886.jpg

after moving the blower back as far as i could on the plate (you can see the notch in it and it stops at the actual intake) it wouldnt lay flat. after looking and looking i found that little bump in the bottom of the rotor pack.

all better now.

with the hub pressed on level with the end of the shaft, the blower pushed as far back without cutting the tab off (and i really dont want to cut it off) laid the blower on the mount and bolted it down.

it sits on it fairly nice. i might have to press the hub back a little more but will have to see once a belt is on. i even had to grab my 8 rib crank pulley off evil while it sat outside. not fun. i ended up lining everything up by laying a strait edge over the face of the crank pulley and on the blower pulley.
still have to drill a couple more holes, and will also have to get a couple welded over and start again as well as cut the opening for the exhaust port of the blower. had to walk out for the night because as mentioned i could literally feel carbon monoxide poisoning coming over me. will cut the openings tomorrow as well as a cut the fat off the plate so make it a little smaller and any sharp edges hopefully.

I love the intake stack its minty

A little bit of time in there Tim? A lot of progress, kindly of surprising as you were gassing yourself.

a co worker dropped in, saw this sitting there. first words "wow! that looks cool!" lol

wasnt to bad for the first few hours, then it started getting bad lol......hey.....i saw the wifey's post on facebook. arent you supposed to be on a beach having someone deliver them drinks with umbrella's in them? you should have been there 2-3 weeks ago, not now lol

Get some fresh air in there man! Holy smokes

Were in Saint Martain now. So far, and awesome experience. Our first airB&B attempt. We picked a cheaper one since we're not interested in spending our time inside. People are friendly, no one pressures you for anything, food and drink is cheap. I have wifi, so It's fantastic to keep up on your antics.

You are more than welcome to anything you need, but you already know that.

adaptor plate is now done.

might give it to my kid and see if he can polish it, or had it to the place in town that lazar cuts metal (which i have used tons in the past for stuff like this) to have a new one made. will also have to get a few small parts also made (egr block off plate, oval and round ends for a intake elbow).

not much has happened lately. went to the wreckers and got my vacuum pump. even hooked it in to try it. with the truck not started since november, plugged the pump into the battery. instant soft peddle and not rock hard. will have to find a spot for it. might mount it between the fender on the drivers side.
i also lucked out and found a aem meth kit like i had before used for cheep, so i returned the one i bought. i was also stressing about where to put the nozzle. its suppose to be infront of the throttle blade and not after (why i cant remember this is beyond me....). i would have to drill into the intake pipe between the air filter and throttle body when i realized there is a vacuum port just infront of the blade in the throttle body housing that i had capped off. that will come out, and tapped (its even on the bottom of the throttle body so it wont been seen).
test fit my water pump on my spare motor. its still tight to get my belt in, but it will JUST clear it.
charged the battery up last night, as well as my laptop. will need to change back to a old tune to try and start it. the cold start still isnt on and the one thats in it will make it run way to rich. was going to change the oil tonight so i can fire it up for the first time since november but a old man nap took priority after supper, this will have to wait until tomorrow. i want to fire it up, turn it around and start get'n r done. will start by putting my battery box in that has sat on the floor of the shed since last spring then work on the mount of stuff thats on the bench.

I really want to see how that vac pump works out, and how you plumb it! Everything is looking amazing.
Funny, I was reading and wondering where your getting your energy.....then you mentioned a delay due to a nap. lol

i literally hooked it to the battery (just to test it), then from the pump directly to the brake booster. what i will do when i go to do it permeantly is have a pressure sensor in it wired to the terminator. when it drops below 15 inches of mercury the sensor will tell the terminator to send power to it until it reaches 25 inches of mercury then shut off. will also wire a relay in as well.
or thats the plan.
what energy? hell as bad as this sounds, i take little cat naps at work lol.
ill head over to your place once everything is done so you can check it out. im figuring a month or a little more when everything is done.
or thats the plan.
want to get it done with lots of time to spare so i dont have to look at it this summer. my sister and i are sneaking a relative up from CA for mom and dads 60th anniversary that they havent seen in around 10ish years, and i havent seen in 20 years so i would like to spend time with her and not under the hood of evil

What did you pull the pump out of?

What did you pull the pump out of?

i think around a 2014 grand caravan. i went on rock auto to see what had them, this is what i found

9ff0d79a-d508-4a4c-bb46-2557506689a2.jpg

and this is what i got along with the hoses that go onto it and to the booster just in case

27c87f02-54ae-4a1e-a4b2-99761c4bf15a.jpg

wasnt hard to pull because someone was there before me and took off the upper intake. its bolted to the top bellhousing. needed a 13mm and a deep 15mm with a breaker bar. not sure what else you would need because it was out in the open.

now if you look at summit for the kit they sell, 2 that popped up look to be the same pump, only mine was $20

fresh oil, older tune loaded so it should start easier, just run a lot richer on a cold start, new plugs that were never ran, evil was set to go for a little run around town then possibly start on it on the weekend depending on weather. started up rather well, better then i remember when it was warmer outside (right now its 0C or 32F). even plugged it in for a few hours as well.

went for a ride, and this thing can still get your heart pumping or pee down your leg. of course im going to play around with it, havent been able to in mounts, but i also forgot with it that cold, skinnier tires, she can busts them loose with authority.
with that out of my system, and heading back home, im literally a block away. can even see my house when all of the sudden out of nowhere.....blah. she dies, and not just anyplace, at the middle of the intersection.....

227716a4-cff6-4caf-94cc-8dbf06a5e9c7.jpg

either a rodent got into it and dinned on some wires, or my barely over 1 year old fuel pump left the chat because its not priming when i turn the key. will look into that more either this weekend or later.
that little ride cost me 60 bucks to get home.
once again proving why i named this thing its name...
