swapping 1998 V8/4R70W/4406 into 1999 SOHC 2wd

Rats!!! Sheesh
Honda makes a electrical wrap with red pepper in it to keep rodents away from wiring

Nicely done all downhill from here lol lol
Sometimes there is an air suspension wire in that connector as well… a few of those buggers are not needed

Plan to beef up the trans mount the stock v8 unit is kinda puny when hanging the 4406

What about the doubler I’m gonna put in it??? 😂😂😂😂

I use a poly mount made for an aod/f150 and modify the crossmember to accept it
I also move the mount about 1/4” to the passenger side it seems to help with vibrations that some experience after doing the v8 and 4406

I've got the mount from an 01 f150. I figure that have to work since thats what was under thus t case to start with?

BORED OUT OF MY MIND. Ya'll. I'm in a town that doesn't receive any "over air" tv. The city has cable TV to offer, but my MIL is too cheap to pay for it. There is nothing to do here.

So i'm thinking about this manual T case. I know nothing about, and I think I'm gonna crack it open Monday night when I get home. Thinking about ordering a new chain and bearings and oil pump to freshen it up before I put it all in the truck.

What chain does the manual case have? Rockauto shows a 1" (round pins) and a 1-1/4" (Triangle shaped pins--and OUT OF STOCK). And where's the best/cheapest place to order an oil pump?

what shim? I was going to pour some epoxy and key it in.

4406 oil pump shim, protects the case notch from wearing, and tightens the slot

Damn I had no idea the 4406 was that big

1/2 ton to 3/4 ton t case not like our little trucks
4406 is large but not as big as the 4407 in the one tons!

well, it's certainly not as small as a dana 20... But that pic also has some perspective in it that makes it look bigger than it may be in comparison to the transmission and engine.
