Humm.... its going to be a pain. I may be able to tell you where mine touches, if I can see it. Most of the people that have done this have a BL, so clearance isn't an issue. I had a spot touching so much I had to pull the body away from the inside using screws, much like a body man would pull a dent.
I will go crawl under my truck with a camera and flashlight and see if I can get you pictures of where to beat the body back. I am not sure if I can get good pictures though... I'll give it a shot.
This is my concern. I have no body lift-
The first 347 Mounty-lowered, with 4X4--I think--
I guess I need to fit it up and see for myself--eh?
Here is how he described it--I just want to be sure I am correct in understanding--
First point is on the trans tunnel- drivers side directly next to the two mounting points for the shifter on the side of the trans. The bolt on the side of the shifter will touch the trans tunnel. Directly next to two mounting points, beat the body away about 1/2" to 3/4".
Second point- with the AWD case out look under the drivers side seat area- there is a big rubber plug with wires running through it. On the inside of that plug about 1" back, there is the corner of the seat pan. That needs to be whacked upwards quite a bit. The two tabs on the top side of the case will touch there. I would grind them off and knock the body up as well.
ok-I have the tabs trimmed off.
I'm going to call it a night on this.
