Well. It was a fun ride while it lasted. It's like a part of me is gone.

Please congratulate pufferfish on his new toy!

I am bowing my head in silence and renaming this thread

"TURDLE" or " How to SELL a perfectly good truck"

Well, we all must move on. I don't think I need to explain my actions, but in this case I will.

Bottom line, it was costing me insurance and property tax money, I no longer want to drive fast and I needed the money. I just cannot work on 2 trucks. It went for a fraction of what I had into it.

Besides, for such a loved truck I had very few offers.

I know how you feel. I just sold my truck too. Sometimes we just need to move on.

In case it means anything.. I think you did the right thing. Too many projects means nothing gets the time/money/attention it needs.

Now you can spend all the spare money on the Vitamin D mobile..

Smart move. Still saddens me. You know how much I loved that truck (while it was a street truck anyhow). Glad I got to see it for real and even drive it a few blocks.

You shouldn't have to explain your actions. It is YOUR vehicle, not EF's. What you choose to do is your business.

It's not like it was sent to the crusher or anything. It was sold to another member and it will continue to burn rubber (hopefully) with him.

Now, time to close this thread and expand on the Vitamin D!!:D

You're not the only one to mess up a perfectly good street truck and then sell it in a yard sale. ;) :D

You did the right thing. You'll be over it sooner than you realize, in the end it's just a truck.

:( Congrats on the sale, you can always build another street ride should the bug ever bite again!

Geez, now I'm gonna start questioning why I keep mine. Nothing makes sense anymore!

:D

Yep, I've been thinking... Sell the Sport Trac or sell the Limited. I really don't need both.
